Role Guide
Software engineer CV for Germany
A Germany-ready software engineer CV has to prove more than tool exposure. It needs delivery context, architecture judgment, and enough local-market clarity to feel low risk.
What the CV must prove
Show the primary engineering lane, production responsibility, stack depth, and the kind of systems you have shipped. Avoid a skills list that is broader than the actual evidence.
For senior roles, add ownership signals: scale, reliability, stakeholder complexity, mentoring, architecture, or incident responsibility.
Germany-specific friction
Make language, location, authorization, and onsite or hybrid readiness explicit. If you are targeting English-speaking roles, still show why the local team can work with you easily.
The stronger the market friction, the sharper the proof needs to be.
