Diagnosis

Good experience, rejected after the CV screen

A rejection at CV screen does not always mean the experience is weak. It often means the evidence is not packaged for the exact decision being made.

Why strong profiles still fail

The reader may see experience, but not enough exact-fit evidence for this role, this seniority, and this market. That is especially common with broad operators, full-stack profiles, and international candidates changing markets.

The CV screen is fast. If the proof is buried, the profile can be rejected before the strongest case is understood.

What to tighten

Separate core lane proof from secondary skills. Put the most relevant project, metric, domain, or ownership signal where it directly answers the target role.

Avoid treating every rejection as a motivation problem. Treat it as a conversion diagnosis.
